| These days, eliminating odors is a common claim from sock manufacturers. But the claim never seems to live up to expectations when you actually try the socks out. Many people think that controlling bacteria to prevent odor and eliminating odor already present are pretty much the same thing. We ran some experiments in which subjects wore Super Sox and a leading odor-eliminating shoe under the same conditions and measured the results. Here are the surprising results of the experiment. |

We compared the bacterial growth in Super Sox and cotton odor-eliminating socks in three test subjects. They wore a Super Sox on their right foot and a leading 100% cotton sock on their left foot for eight hours. We took samples and cultured them at 98.6°F (37°C) for 16 hours, only to find that Super Sox had less bacterial growth in each sample! Because bacteria are one cause of bad odor, we conclude that Super Sox is the sock that stays fresher because it controls bacterial growth. |

We compared the humidity of two leading cotton odor-eliminating socks S and D to Super Sox. Dry socks were placed in an atmosphere of 95°F (35°C) with 55% humidity, and the moisture content of each sock was measured at time intervals. Although products S and D claimed a high level of comfort, Super Sox retained less moisture. This experiment demonstrated the superior moisture absorption and transpiration of Breathe Fibers. |

Odor sensors were used for measurements in this experiment. Subjects wore socks made of different materials for eight hours. Compared to the other materials, Super Sox displayed a far lower number in odor measurements, with lower numbers representing less odor. This experiment demonstrated the superior odor control of Super Sox, with its special Breathe Fibers. |
